TR05 is the heavy-duty 8.5x20 open flat-deck with rear ramps and a full 14K tie-down system. TR04 is our 8.5x22 tilt deck deckover — 102 inches of uninterrupted deck width, hydraulic tilt loading, no wheel wells. Equipment trailers are purpose-built for heavy machinery with heavy-duty tie-down rings and ramp or tilt-deck loading systems. Our flatbed trailers are lighter-duty and better suited for lumber, materials, and general cargo.
The TR04 and TR-11 deckovers have a full 102" of deck width with no wheel wells. A standard flatbed has fender wells that reduce usable width to about 82".
Choose an equipment trailer when: hauling a skid steer, excavator, or tractor; you need tilt deck or ramp loading; or your equipment is wider than 82". Choose TR-11 when your load exceeds 14,000 lbs or you need the full 25-foot deck.

TR04 and TR05 are rated at 14,000 lbs GVWR. TR-11 is rated at 25,000 lbs GVWR with 18,670 lbs of payload capacity — the highest-capacity trailer we rent. Most compact equipment fits on TR04 or TR05; heavy production-class equipment requiring more than 14K fits on TR-11.
All three equipment trailers require a 2-5/16" ball hitch. A 3/4-ton or 1-ton diesel pickup is strongly recommended. For TR-11 at 25K GVWR, a properly rated 1-ton truck with the correct tow package is required — verify your vehicle's tow rating before booking.
The TR04's hydraulic tilt deck tilts backward when activated, creating a low-angle ramp. Most self-propelled equipment drives straight up the tilted deck onto the trailer. Once loaded, the deck levels out. Slide-out ramps are also available for non-self-propelled equipment.

For most compact equipment, no special permit is required. If combined gross weight or load dimensions exceed legal limits, an oversize load permit from ADOT may be required. TR-11 at 25K GVWR may require additional consideration for combined vehicle weight on certain routes.
Heavy-duty tie-down chains and straps are included with every equipment trailer rental. All three trailers have multiple D-ring tie-down points along the deck.
Yes — tracked equipment is one of the most common loads on our trailers. Steel tracks are compatible with our trailer decks. Tie down to the main frame, not the tracks or undercarriage rollers.
